Night Swimming – Howth Harbour Seal

This illustration is of a friendly seal popping its head out of the water in Howth Harbour, Dublin. The light house on the East Pier is sketched in the background in black and white with a few pops of red details to make it immediately identifiable.  The pen illustrated details contrast with the bold rippled water in the background to create a dreamy tranquil setting for the seal.

This piece uses a combination of detailed pen sketching for the seal, pier and lighthouse and digital illustration for the water.
