Breacadh Mnemonics Illustrations

This is a very small glimpse of an exciting mnemonics project for Breacadh.

This was a really fun and brainteasing project to create a set of over 60 mnemonics for Irish language sounds.  I worked with a team at the GRETB (Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board) who had great ideas for possible words and visual concepts to use for each letter sound.  Some sounds were trickier than others to represent and this was definitely one of those projects that required user testing.  We are very pleased with the end results which included not only the illustrations for each mnemonic but also the design of the set of cards and other learning resources including posters.
