Folens Starlight

Starlight is Folens Primary English Programme released in 2018 and is fully aligned to the 2015 language curriculum. We were privileged to work with Folens on the illustrations for the Junior Infants and Senior Infants Books.

Sinéad Woods and Úna Woods worked together to design the style and create the illustrations for the 26 Junior and Senior Infant books. This also included a series of large classroom posters to accompany the books. Each book has 12 to 14 pages and there are a mix of single page illustrations, double page spreads and multiple illustrations per page. Some of the page designs include the story text overlaid on to the illustrations. The printed books include class readers and also some large format A3 books for classroom use. The illustrations are also available as digital resources for classroom use.
